Jeremiah 17:5-10; John 20:25-29

  • Doubt is an essential ingredient for biblical faithfulness.
    • Doubt raises questions, and questions are essential for biblical faithfulness.
      • Questions are more important than answers.
      • The wrong questions never provide the right answers, and the right answer given apart from the right question doesn’t make sense.
  • As God’s Story moves forward in the world, we discover that we human beings have misunderstood many things.
  • One of the things that needs to be corrected in the contemporary world, in the contemporary churches, is related to anthropology.
  • But it is time to digest the meat and spit out the bones of contention.
