Chronos time is measured by our clocks and calendars.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Chronos time moves forward in equally long segments: seconds, minutes, hours, days, months, years.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Kiros time is more flexible. It moves forward in unequally long segments of expectation.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>When it is dinner time chronos time looks at the clock, but kiros time looks at the kitchen because dinner isn\u2019t served until it\u2019s ready.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Kiros time is expectant time and it doesn\u2019t come until whatever is expected is ready.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mary anticipated a baby. That Baby anticipated a Kingdom.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mary delivered a baby who delivered God\u2019s people.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Jesus recognized that some people did not self-identity as children of God.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It\u2019s not that God excluded them, but that they excluded themselves from God\u2019s family.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><br>The joy of Christmas is the family reunion of God\u2019s people. The lament of Christmas is that not everyone has made it to the reunion\u2026 yet.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>(This is just a teaser.
