Those prophets and their words are recorded in the Bible.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>And because those prophets were in the future beyond Moses, Moses provided some instruction on how to identify them; so that Israel could tell the difference between true prophets and false prophets, true teaching from false teaching.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The first thing that Moses said was that true prophets would come from the people of Israel. They would be like Moses; they would not be foreigners or aliens. They would be found among God\u2019s people.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>God always speaks the truth, even when people don\u2019t recognize it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>But this raises a question: how can people recognize God\u2019s truth? And this question applies equally to people who do know God\u2019s truth and to people who don\u2019t know God\u2019s truth. It applies to everyone.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>John 18:31-32: \u201cJesus said to the Jews who had believed him, \u2018If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, 32 and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.\u2019\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Sunday morning messages are available on the website (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.stpaulsmarietta.org\/audio\">www.stpaulsmarietta.org\/audio<\/a>).
