Why aim at the poor? Why not aim at the rich, after all they would be much more able to accomplish things, to insure the success of Christianity.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The rich could institute God\u2019s program and get the proverbial ball rolling much more effectively than the poor. Wouldn\u2019t the rich be more worthy of God\u2019s blessing than the poor?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>God\u2019s forgiveness, God\u2019s mercy does not trump His justice. God\u2019s justice must be maintained. The integrity of God\u2019s law cannot be broken.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>This is the message that John the Baptist brought to ancient Israel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sunday morning messages are available on the website (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.stpaulsmarietta.org\/audio\">www.stpaulsmarietta.org\/audio<\/a>).
