He knew 900 years in advance what the Messiah must do, and how He would respond to the suffering He would encounter. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>God sent Jesus to die on the cross. It was not Jesus\u2019 idea; He didn\u2019t like it and prayed that it would be taken from Him, that it would not be necessary.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>But<\/em>, said Jesus, \u201cnot my will, but yours, Lord.\u201d He submitted to God\u2019s will even when it meant His own suffering and death. \n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Palm Sunday begins the events of Holy Week, and those events will bloom in human history as Christianity. This has been happening for thousands of years.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Christianity was the end of Judaism, the purpose of Judaism has been fulfilled with the birth of Christianity.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Christianity has already utterly changed the world.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sermons are available on the website (<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:www.stpaulsmarietta.org\/audio\" target=\"_blank\">https:www.stpaulsmarietta.org\/audio<\/a>).
