God relented, and this story shows Israel\u2019s addiction to sin and God\u2019s determination to work with His people.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>John 4:42 They said to the woman, \u201cIt is no longer because of what you said that we believe, for we have heard for ourselves, and we know that this is indeed the Savior of the world.\u201d\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>While our testimonies are important, it is hearing for ourselves that makes the critical difference.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Who is \u201che who has ears\u201d? The simple answer: all people who have been or are being given the words of God. Like the parables\u2019 original audience, we must also \u201cListen up!
