For the choir director: A psalm of David, to be accompanied by a stringed instrument.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
\n

1 <\/sup>O Lord, our Lord, your majestic name fills the earth!     Your glory is higher than the heavens. 2 <\/sup>You have taught children and infants     to tell of your strength, silencing your enemies     and all who oppose you.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

3 <\/sup>When I look at the night sky and see the work of your fingers\u2014     the moon and the stars you set in place\u2014 4 <\/sup>what are mere mortals that you should think about them,     human beings that you should care for them? 5 <\/sup>Yet you made them only a little lower than God     and crowned them with glory and honor. 6 <\/sup>You gave them charge of everything you made,     putting all things under their authority\u2014 7 <\/sup>the flocks and the herds     and all the wild animals, 8 <\/sup>the birds in the sky, the fish in the sea,     and everything that swims the ocean currents.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

54 \u201cSing, O barren one, who did not bear;     break forth into singing and cry aloud,     you who have not been in labor! For the children of the desolate one will be more     than the children of her who is married,\u201d says the Lord. 2 <\/sup>\u201cEnlarge the place of your tent,     and let the curtains of your habitations be stretched out; do not hold back; lengthen your cords     and strengthen your stakes. 3 <\/sup>For you will spread abroad to the right and to the left,     and your offspring will possess the nations     and will people the desolate cities.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
