The Call of Abram<\/em><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

12 <\/strong>The Lord had said to Abram, \u201cGo from your country, your people and your father\u2019s household to the land I will show you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2 <\/sup>\u201cI will make you into a great nation,
    and I will bless you;
I will make your name great,
    and you will be a blessing.
3 <\/sup>I will bless those who bless you,
    and whoever curses you I will curse;
and all peoples on earth
    will be blessed through you.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4 <\/sup>So Abram went, as the Lord had told him; and Lot went with him. Abram was seventy-five years old when he set out from Harran. 5 <\/sup>He took his wife Sarai, his nephew Lot, all the possessions they had accumulated and the people they had acquired in Harran, and they set out for the land of Canaan, and they arrived there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6 <\/sup>Abram traveled through the land as far as the site of the great tree of Moreh at Shechem. At that time the Canaanites were in the land. 7 <\/sup>The Lord appeared to Abram and said, \u201cTo your offspring I will give this land.\u201d So he built an altar there to the Lord, who had appeared to him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8 <\/sup>From there he went on toward the hills east of Bethel and pitched his tent, with Bethel on the west and Ai on the east. There he built an altar to the Lord and called on the name of the Lord.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

9\u00a0<\/sup>Then Abram set out and continued toward the Negev.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Noisy Offering:<\/em><\/strong>
A collection of coins by the children for missions is part of the worship service the last Sunday of every month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sunday School:<\/em><\/strong>
10:00 \u2013 11:00 AM \u2013 in the Parish Hall Lower Level.  A Children\u2019s Church program is available weekly on Sunday mornings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
