Jesus Prays to Be Glorified<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

17 <\/span>After Jesus said this, he looked toward heaven and prayed:<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cFather, the hour has come. Glorify your Son, that your Son may glorify you.<\/span><\/span> 2 <\/sup>For you granted him authority over all people that he might give eternal life to all those you have given him.<\/span><\/span> 3 <\/sup>Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.<\/span><\/span> 4 <\/sup>I have brought you glory on earth by finishing the work you gave me to do.<\/span><\/span> 5 <\/sup>And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

\nthey murder on the road to Shechem,<\/span>

\n10 <\/sup>I have seen a horrible thing in Israel:<\/span>
\n    <\/span>There Ephraim is given to prostitution,<\/span><\/span>
\n    <\/span>Israel is defiled.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n    <\/span>a harvest is appointed.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
