Several years ago Pastor Tom Hendershot layed out a vision for St. Paul&#8217;s:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After a period of decline from the 1960\u2019s through mid-1990\u2019s, st. Paul\u2019s embarked on a deliberate pilgrimage of redevelopment in 1998. The three \u2018R\u2019s of that pilgrimage are:<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><br><blockquote><p>the <strong>reclamation<\/strong> of our evangelical faith, so that we are grounded firmly in god\u2019s good news in Jesus Christ;<\/p><\/blockquote><br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><br><blockquote><p>the <strong>restoration<\/strong> of our property so that it stands as a clear indication of our commitment to be here and identify with our community.<\/p><\/blockquote><br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><br><blockquote><p>the <strong>renewal<\/strong> of all the people God gives us to serve by meeting them where they live in the real world and claiming God\u2019s strong grace for their lives, focusing our programs to meet their needs today.<\/p><\/blockquote><br><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pastor Phil talked about where we are in that process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-audio\"><audio controls src=\"https:\/\/stpaulsmarietta.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/Phil-2018-03-25.mp3\"><\/audio><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The project continues.
