3 <\/sup>Therefore I want you to understand that no one speaking in the Spirit of God ever says \u201cJesus is accursed!\u201d and no one can say \u201cJesus is Lord\u201d except in the Holy Spirit.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

4 <\/sup>Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit;<\/span> 5 <\/sup>and there are varieties of service, but the same Lord;<\/span> 6 <\/sup>and there are varieties of activities, but it is the same God who empowers them all in everyone.<\/span>7 <\/sup>To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good.<\/span>8 <\/sup>For to one is given through the Spirit the utterance of wisdom, and to another the utterance of knowledge according to the same Spirit,<\/span> 9 <\/sup>to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit,<\/span> 10 <\/sup>to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another the ability to distinguish between spirits, to another various kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues.<\/span> 11 <\/sup>All these are empowered by one and the same Spirit, who apportions to each one individually as he wills.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

One Body with Many Members<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

12 <\/sup>For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ.<\/span>13 <\/sup>For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body\u2014Jews or Greeks, slaves or free\u2014and all were made to drink of one Spirit.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Peter Confesses Jesus as the Christ<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

13 <\/sup>Now when Jesus came into the district of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, \u201cWho do people say that the Son of Man is?\u201d<\/span><\/span> 14 <\/sup>And they said, \u201cSome say John the Baptist, others say Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.\u201d<\/span> 15 <\/sup>He said to them, \u201cBut who do you say that I am?\u201d<\/span><\/span> 16 <\/sup>Simon Peter replied, \u201cYou are the Christ, the Son of the living God.\u201d<\/span> 17 <\/sup>And Jesus answered him, \u201cBlessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah!
