Isaiah 64:1-9  (New International Version)<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
\n

64 <\/span>Oh, that you would rend the heavens and come down,<\/span><\/span>
\n    <\/span>that the mountains would tremble before you!<\/span><\/span>
\n2 <\/sup>As when fire sets twigs ablaze<\/span>
\n    <\/span>and causes water to boil,<\/span><\/span>
\ncome down to make your name known to your enemies<\/span>
\n    <\/span>and cause the nations to quake before you!<\/span><\/span>
\n3 <\/sup>For when you did awesome things that we did not expect,<\/span>
\n    <\/span>you came down, and the mountains trembled before you.<\/span><\/span>
\n4 <\/sup>Since ancient times no one has heard,<\/span>

\nBut when we continued to sin against them,<\/span>

\n6 <\/sup>All of us have become like one who is unclean,<\/span>
\n    <\/span>and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags;<\/span><\/span>
\nwe all shrivel up like a leaf,<\/span>
\n    <\/span>and like the wind our sins sweep us away.<\/span><\/span>
\n7 <\/sup>No one calls on your name<\/span>
\n    <\/span>or strives to lay hold of you;<\/span><\/span>

Galatians 4:1-7  ( New International Version)<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h3>\n

4 <\/span>What I am saying is that as long as an heir is underage, he is no different from a slave, although he owns the whole estate.<\/span> 2 <\/sup>The heir is subject to guardians and trustees until the time set by his father.<\/span> 3 <\/sup>So also, when we were underage, we were in slavery under the elemental spiritual forces of the world.<\/span> 4 <\/sup>But when the set time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law,<\/span> 5 <\/sup>to redeem those under the law, that we might receive adoption to sonship.<\/span> 6 <\/sup>Because you are his sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, \u201cAbba<\/i>, Father.\u201d<\/span> 7 <\/sup>So you are no longer a slave, but God\u2019s child; and since you are his child, God has made you also an heir.<\/span><\/p>\n
