Psalm 19:1-14  (New International Version)<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

For the director of music. A psalm of David.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n

1 <\/sup>The heavens declare the glory of God;<\/span>
\n    <\/span>the skies proclaim the work of his hands.<\/span><\/span>
\n2 <\/sup>Day after day they pour forth speech;<\/span>
\n    <\/span>night after night they reveal knowledge.<\/span><\/span>
\n3 <\/sup>They have no speech, they use no words;<\/span>
\n    <\/span>no sound is heard from them.<\/span><\/span>
\n4 <\/sup>Yet their voice goes out into all the earth,<\/span>
\n    <\/span>their words to the ends of the world.<\/span><\/span>
\nIn the heavens God has pitched a tent for the sun.<\/span>
\n5 <\/sup>    <\/span>It is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber,<\/span><\/span>
\n    <\/span>like a champion rejoicing to run his course.<\/span><\/span>
\n6 <\/sup>It rises at one end of the heavens<\/span>
\n    <\/span>and makes its circuit to the other;<\/span><\/span>
\n    <\/span>nothing is deprived of its warmth.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

7 <\/sup>The law of the Lord<\/span> is perfect,<\/span>
\n    <\/span>refreshing the soul.<\/span><\/span>
\nThe statutes of the Lord<\/span> are trustworthy,<\/span>
\n    <\/span>making wise the simple.<\/span><\/span>
\n8 <\/sup>The precepts of the Lord<\/span> are right,<\/span>
\n    <\/span>giving joy to the heart.<\/span><\/span>
\nThe commands of the Lord<\/span> are radiant,<\/span>
\n    <\/span>giving light to the eyes.<\/span><\/span>
\n9 <\/sup>The fear of the Lord<\/span> is pure,<\/span>
\n    <\/span>enduring forever.<\/span><\/span>
\nThe decrees of the Lord<\/span> are firm,<\/span>
\n    <\/span>and all of them are righteous.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

10 <\/sup>They are more precious than gold,<\/span>
\n    <\/span>than much pure gold;<\/span><\/span>
\nthey are sweeter than honey,<\/span>
\n    <\/span>than honey from the honeycomb.<\/span><\/span>
\n11 <\/sup>By them your servant is warned;<\/span>
\n    <\/span>in keeping them there is great reward.<\/span><\/span>
\n12 <\/sup>But who can discern their own errors?<\/span>
\n    <\/span>Forgive my hidden faults.<\/span><\/span>
\n13 <\/sup>Keep your servant also from willful sins;<\/span>
\n    <\/span>may they not rule over me.<\/span><\/span>
\nThen I will be blameless,<\/span>
\n    <\/span>innocent of great transgression.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

14 <\/sup>May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart<\/span>
\n    <\/span>be pleasing in your sight,<\/span><\/span>
\n    <\/span>Lord<\/span>, my Rock and my Redeemer.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

2 Peter 3:14-18  (New International Version)<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h3>\n

14 <\/sup>So then, dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, make every effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with him.<\/span>15 <\/sup>Bear in mind that our Lord\u2019s patience means salvation, just as our dear brother Paul also wrote you with the wisdom that God gave him.<\/span>16 <\/sup>He writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters. His letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction.<\/span><\/p>\n

17 <\/sup>Therefore, dear friends, since you have been forewarned, be on your guard so that you may not be carried away by the error of the lawlessand fall from your secure position.<\/span> 18 <\/sup>But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen.<\/span><\/p>\n
