That You May Know<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

13 <\/sup>I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life.<\/span> 14 <\/sup>And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us.<\/span> 15 <\/sup>And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Philippians 4:1-9  (English Standard Version)<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

4 <\/span>Therefore, my brothers, whom I love and long for, my joy and crown, stand firm thus in the Lord, my beloved.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Exhortation, Encouragement, and Prayer<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

2 <\/sup>I entreat Euodia and I entreat Syntyche to agree in the Lord.<\/span> 3 <\/sup>Yes, I ask you also, true companion, help these women, who have labored side by side with me in the gospel together with Clement and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the book of life.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

4 <\/sup>Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice.<\/span> 5 <\/sup>Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand;<\/span> 6 <\/sup>do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.<\/span> 7 <\/sup>And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

8 <\/sup>Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.<\/span> 9 <\/sup>What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me\u2014practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
