Jesus Walks on the Sea<\/span><\/em><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

22 <\/sup>Immediately Jesus made His disciples get into the boat and go before Him to the other side, while He sent the multitudes away. <\/span>23 <\/sup>And when He had sent the multitudes away, He went up on the mountain by Himself to pray. Now when evening came, He was alone there. <\/span>24 <\/sup>But the boat was now in the middle of the sea, tossed by the waves, for the wind was contrary.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

25 <\/sup>Now in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went to them, walking on the sea. <\/span>26 <\/sup>And when the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, \u201cIt is a ghost!\u201d And they cried out for fear.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

27 <\/sup>But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, \u201cBe of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

28 <\/sup>And Peter answered Him and said, \u201cLord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

29 <\/sup>So He said, \u201cCome.\u201d<\/span> And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus. <\/span>30 <\/sup>But when he saw that the wind was<\/i> boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, \u201cLord, save me!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

31 <\/sup>And immediately Jesus stretched out His<\/i> hand and caught him, and said to him, \u201cO you of little faith, why did you doubt?\u201d<\/span> <\/span>32 <\/sup>And when they got into the boat, the wind ceased.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

33 <\/sup>Then those who were in the boat came and worshiped Him, saying, \u201cTruly You are the Son of God.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

13 <\/sup>When Jesus came into the region of Caesarea Philippi, He asked His disciples, saying, \u201cWho do men say that I, the Son of Man, am?\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

14 <\/sup>So they said, \u201cSome say<\/i> John the Baptist, some Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

17 <\/sup>Jesus answered and said to him, \u201cBlessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this<\/i> to you, but My Father who is in heaven.<\/span> <\/span>18 <\/sup>And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.<\/span> <\/span>19 <\/sup>And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed<\/span> in heaven.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

20 <\/sup>Then He commanded His disciples that they should tell no one that He was Jesus the Christ.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
