John 11:18-27  (New International Version)<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

18 <\/sup>Now Bethany was less than two miles from Jerusalem,<\/span> 19 <\/sup>and many Jews had come to Martha and Mary to comfort them in the loss of their brother.<\/span> 20 <\/sup>When Martha heard that Jesus was coming, she went out to meet him, but Mary stayed at home.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

21 <\/sup>\u201cLord,\u201d Martha said to Jesus, \u201cif you had been here, my brother would not have died.<\/span> 22 <\/sup>But I know that even now God will give you whatever you ask.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
