1 <\/span>The oracle that the prophet Habakkuk saw.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Prophet\u2019s Complaint<\/span><\/em><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
\n

2 <\/sup>O Lord<\/span>, how long shall I cry for help,<\/span>
\n    <\/span>and you will not listen?<\/span><\/span>
\nOr cry to you \u201cViolence!\u201d<\/span>
\n    <\/span>and you will not save?<\/span><\/span>
\n3 <\/sup>Why do you make me see wrongdoing<\/span>
\n    <\/span>and look at trouble?<\/span><\/span>
\nDestruction and violence are before me;<\/span>
\n    <\/span>strife and contention arise.<\/span><\/span>

God\u2019s Reply to the Prophet\u2019s Complaint<\/span><\/em><\/h3>\n
\n

2 <\/span>I will stand at my watchpost,<\/span><\/span>
\n    <\/span>and station myself on the rampart;<\/span><\/span>
\nI will keep watch to see what he will say to me,<\/span>
\n    <\/span>and what he will answer concerning my complaint.<\/span><\/span>
\n2 <\/sup>Then the Lord<\/span> answered me and said:<\/span>
\nWrite the vision;<\/span>
\n    <\/span>make it plain on tablets,<\/span><\/span>
\n    <\/span>so that a runner may read it.<\/span><\/span>
\n3 <\/sup>For there is still a vision for the appointed time;<\/span>
\n    <\/span>it speaks of the end, and does not lie.<\/span><\/span>
\nIf it seems to tarry, wait for it;<\/span>
\n    <\/span>it will surely come, it will not delay.<\/span><\/span>

\n    <\/span>Their spirit is not right in them,<\/span><\/span>

Jesus and Zacchaeus<\/span><\/em><\/h3>\n

19 <\/span>He entered Jericho and was passing through it. <\/span>2 <\/sup>A man was there named Zacchaeus; he was a chief tax collector and was rich. <\/span>3 <\/sup>He was trying to see who Jesus was, but on account of the crowd he could not, because he was short in stature. <\/span>4 <\/sup>So he ran ahead and climbed a sycamore tree to see him, because he was going to pass that way.<\/span>5 <\/sup>When Jesus came to the place, he looked up and said to him, \u201cZacchaeus, hurry and come down; for I must stay at your house today.\u201d <\/span>6 <\/sup>So he hurried down and was happy to welcome him. <\/span>7 <\/sup>All who saw it began to grumble and said, \u201cHe has gone to be the guest of one who is a sinner.\u201d <\/span>8 <\/sup>Zacchaeus stood there and said to the Lord, \u201cLook, half of my possessions, Lord, I will give to the poor; and if I have defrauded anyone of anything, I will pay back four times as much.\u201d<\/span>9 <\/sup>Then Jesus said to him, \u201cToday salvation has come to this house, because he too is a son of Abraham. <\/span>10 <\/sup>For the Son of Man came to seek out and to save the lost.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Noisy Offering:<\/strong><\/em><\/span>
\nA collection of coins by the children for missions is part of the worship service the last Sunday of every month.<\/p>\n
