Live as You Are Called<\/span><\/em><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

17 <\/sup>Only let each person lead the life that the Lord has assigned to him, and to which God has called him. This is my rule in all the churches.<\/span>18 <\/sup>Was anyone at the time of his call already circumcised? Let him not seek to remove the marks of circumcision. Was anyone at the time of his call uncircumcised? Let him not seek circumcision.<\/span> 19 <\/sup>For neither circumcision counts for anything nor uncircumcision, but keeping the commandments of God.<\/span> 20 <\/sup>Each one should remain in the condition in which he was called.<\/span> 21 <\/sup>Were you a bondservant when called? Do not be concerned about it. (But if you can gain your freedom, avail yourself of the opportunity.)<\/span> 22 <\/sup>For he who was called in the Lord as a bondservant is a freedman of the Lord. Likewise he who was free when called is a bondservant of Christ.<\/span> 23 <\/sup>You were bought with a price; do not become bondservants of men.<\/span> 24 <\/sup>So, brothers, in whatever condition each was called, there let him remain with God.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Qualifications for Overseers<\/span><\/em><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

3 <\/span>The saying is trustworthy: If anyone aspires to the office of overseer, he desires a noble task.<\/span> 2 <\/sup>Therefore an overseer must be above reproach, the husband of one wife, sober-minded, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, able to teach,<\/span> 3 <\/sup>not a drunkard, not violent butgentle, not quarrelsome, not a lover of money.<\/span> 4 <\/sup>He must manage his own household well, with all dignity keeping his children submissive,<\/span>5 <\/sup>for if someone does not know how to manage his own household, how will he care for God’s church?<\/span> 6 <\/sup>He must not be a recent convert, or he may become puffed up with conceit and fall into the condemnation of the devil.<\/span> 7 <\/sup>Moreover, he must be well thought of by outsiders, so that he may not fall into disgrace, into a snare of the devil.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Noisy Offering:<\/strong><\/em><\/span>
\nA collection of coins by the children for missions is part of the worship service the last Sunday of every month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sunday School:<\/strong><\/em><\/span>
\n10:00 \u2013 11:00 AM \u2013 in the Parish Hall Lower Level.  A Children\u2019s Church program is available weekly on Sunday mornings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
