{"id":2136,"date":"2016-03-19T21:07:34","date_gmt":"2016-03-19T21:07:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/stpaulsmarietta.org\/?p=2136"},"modified":"2026-02-28T21:57:43","modified_gmt":"2026-02-28T21:57:43","slug":"worship-march-20-2016-palm-sunday","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stpaulsmarietta.org\/?p=2136","title":{"rendered":"Worship &#8211; March 20, 2016 &#8211; Palm Sunday"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff\"><em><strong>Worship will be back in the Sanctuary this Sunday &#8211; construction is complete!<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"color: #e815ba\"><em><strong>&#8220;Internet Easter&#8221;<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/stpaulsmarietta.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/Internet-Easter.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-2138\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/stpaulsmarietta.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/Internet-Easter-290x300.jpg\" alt=\"Internet Easter\" class=\"wp-image-2138\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">In &#8220;Internet Easter,&#8221; two Sunday school leaders hold an Easter Celebration for the children of the church. &nbsp;They quickly realize that all of the popular symbols of Easter, like eggs and bunnies, don&#8217;t have much to do with Jesus at all! &nbsp;With the help of internet whiz kid Maggie, the leaders and the children use their collective knowledge to piece together what really happened when Jesus died on the cross and rose again.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"color: #e815ba\"><em><strong>God is Love<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He came to earth with a message of love,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">and he nurtured it with every deed from healing<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">to forgiving.&nbsp; So there could be no doubt<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">of his example, he proved his love upon the cross.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He also proved that love is the only lasting force<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">in the universe.&nbsp; We take it with us from this life to the next,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">and the more love that is harbored in our soul,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">the greater our light will shine in eternity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The wonderful thing about love is \u2013it\u2019s free,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">and the more we give away, the more it comes back to us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #e815ba\"><em><strong>Sunday School:<\/strong><\/em><\/span><br>\n10:00 \u2013 11:00 AM \u2013 in the Parish Hall Lower Level. A Children\u2019s Church program is available weekly on Sunday mornings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #e815ba\"><em><strong>Nursery Ministry:<\/strong><\/em><\/span><br>\n10:00 \u2013 11:00 AM \u2013 in the Parish Hall Lower Level. Available every Sunday morning during the worship service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #e815ba\"><em><strong>Sunday Morning Worship:<\/strong><\/em><\/span><br>\n10:00 AM \u2013 in the Parish Hall.
