Psalm 24:1-7  (Common English Bible)<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

A psalm of David.<\/span><\/em><\/h4>\n\n\n\n
\n

24 <\/span>The earth is the Lord<\/span>\u2019s and everything in it,<\/span><\/span>
\n    <\/span>the world and its inhabitants too.<\/span><\/span>
\n2 <\/sup>Because God is the one who established it on the seas;<\/span>
\n    <\/span>God set it firmly on the waters.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

3 <\/sup>Who can ascend the Lord<\/span>\u2019s mountain?<\/span>
\n    <\/span>Who can stand in his holy sanctuary?<\/span><\/span>
\n4 <\/sup>Only the one with clean hands and a pure heart;<\/span>
\n    <\/span>the one who hasn\u2019t made false promises,<\/span><\/span>
\n    <\/span>the one who hasn\u2019t sworn dishonestly.<\/span><\/span>
\n5 <\/sup>That kind of person receives blessings from the Lord<\/span><\/span>
\n    <\/span>and righteousness from the God who saves.<\/span><\/span>
\n6 <\/sup>And that\u2019s how things are<\/span>
\n    <\/span>with the generation that seeks him\u2014<\/span><\/span>
\n    <\/span>that seeks the face of Jacob\u2019s God. Selah<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

7 <\/sup>Mighty gates: lift up your heads!<\/span>
\n    <\/span>Ancient doors: rise up high!<\/span><\/span>
\n        <\/span>So the glorious king can enter!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
