Isaiah 9:2-7  (English Standard Version)<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

2 <\/sup>The people who walked in darkness<\/span>
\n    <\/span>have seen a great light;<\/span><\/span>
\nthose who dwelt in a land of deep darkness,<\/span>
\n    <\/span>on them has light shone.<\/span><\/span>
\n3 <\/sup>You have multiplied the nation;<\/span>
\n    <\/span>you have increased its joy;<\/span><\/span>
\nthey rejoice before you<\/span>
\n    <\/span>as with joy at the harvest,<\/span><\/span>
\n    <\/span>as they are glad when they divide the spoil.<\/span><\/span>
\n4 <\/sup>For the yoke of his burden,<\/span>
\n    <\/span>and the staff for his shoulder,<\/span><\/span>
\n    <\/span>the rod of his oppressor,<\/span><\/span>
\n    <\/span>you have broken as on the day of Midian.<\/span><\/span>
\n5 <\/sup>For every boot of the tramping warrior in battle tumult<\/span>
\n    <\/span>and every garment rolled in blood<\/span><\/span>
\n    <\/span>will be burned as fuel for the fire.<\/span><\/span>
\n6 <\/sup>For to us a child is born,<\/span>
\n    <\/span>to us a son is given;<\/span><\/span>
\nand the government shall be upon his shoulder,<\/span>
\n    <\/span>and his name shall be called<\/span><\/span>
\nWonderful Counselor, Mighty God,<\/span>
\n    <\/span>Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.<\/span><\/span>
\n7 <\/sup>Of the increase of his government and of peace<\/span>
\n    <\/span>there will be no end,<\/span><\/span>
\non the throne of David and over his kingdom,<\/span>
\n    <\/span>to establish it and to uphold it<\/span><\/span>
\nwith justice and with righteousness<\/span>
\n    <\/span>from this time forth and forevermore.<\/span><\/span>
\nThe zeal of the Lord<\/span> of hosts will do this.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Noisy Offering:<\/strong><\/em><\/span>
\nA collection of coins by the children for missions is part of the worship service the last Sunday of every month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
