ANNOUNCING:<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Next Sunday May 17.2015 we will not have a service in the church.  We will meet at Buell Park on the Island in Lowell (Shelter C) at 10:30 AM for a worship service followed by a picnic potluck meal.  The church will provide plastic ware, napkins and drinks.  Bring a dish to share and enjoy the fellowship and the beauty of the park.<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Psalm 98  (New American Standard Bible)<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

98 <\/span>O sing to the Lord<\/span> a new song,
\nFor He has done wonderful things,<\/span>
\nHis right hand and His holy arm have gained the victory for Him.<\/span>
\n2 <\/sup><\/span>The Lord<\/span> has made known His salvation;<\/span>
\nHe has revealed His righteousness in the sight of the nations.<\/span>

The Widow\u2019s Oil<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

4 <\/span>Now a certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets cried out to Elisha, \u201cYour servant my husband is dead, and you know that your servant feared the Lord<\/span>; and the creditor has come to take my two children to be his slaves.\u201d<\/span> 2 <\/span><\/sup>Elisha said to her, \u201cWhat shall I do for you? Tell me, what do you have in the house?\u201d And she said, \u201cYour maidservant has nothing in the house except a jar of oil.\u201d<\/span> 3 <\/span><\/sup>Then he said, \u201cGo, borrow vessels at large for yourself from all your neighbors, even<\/i> empty vessels; do not get a few.<\/span> 4 <\/span><\/sup>And you shall go in and shut the door behind you and your sons, and pour out into all these vessels, and you shall set aside what is full.\u201d<\/span> 5 <\/span><\/sup>So she went from him and shut the door behind her and her sons; they were bringing the vessels<\/i> to her and she poured.<\/span> 6 <\/span><\/sup>When the vessels were full, she said to her son, \u201cBring me another vessel.\u201d And he said to her, \u201cThere is not one vessel more.\u201d And the oil stopped.<\/span> 7 <\/span><\/sup>Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, \u201cGo, sell the oil and pay your debt, and you and<\/i> your sons can live on the rest.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
