Psalm 31:9-16  (English Standard Version)<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

9 <\/span><\/sup>Be gracious to me, O Lord<\/span>, for I am in distress;
\n    <\/span>my eye is wasted from grief;<\/span><\/span>
\n    <\/span>my soul and my body also.<\/span><\/span>
\n10 <\/span><\/sup>For my life is spent with sorrow,<\/span>
\n    <\/span>and my years with sighing;<\/span><\/span>
\nmy strength fails because of my iniquity,<\/span>
\n    <\/span>and my bones waste away.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

11 <\/span><\/sup>Because of all my adversaries I have become a reproach,<\/span>
\n    <\/span>especially to my neighbors,<\/span><\/span>
\nand an object of dread to my acquaintances;<\/span>

14 <\/span><\/sup>But I trust in you, O Lord<\/span>;<\/span>
\n    <\/span>I say, \u201cYou are my God.\u201d<\/span><\/span>
\n15 <\/span><\/sup>My times are in your hand;<\/span>
\n    <\/span>rescue me from the hand of my enemies and from my persecutors!<\/span><\/span>
\n16 <\/sup><\/span>Make your face shine on your servant;<\/span>
\n    <\/span>save me in your steadfast love<\/span><\/span>!<\/p>\n

Matthew 21:1-11  (English Standard Version)<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h3>\n

21 <\/span>Now when they drew near to Jerusalem and came to Bethphage, to the Mount of Olives, then Jesus sent two disciples,<\/span> 2 <\/span><\/sup>saying to them, \u201cGo into the village in front of you, and immediately you will find a donkey tied, and a colt with her. Untie them and bring them to me.<\/span><\/span> 3 <\/span><\/sup>If anyone says anything to you, you shall say, \u2018The Lord needs them,\u2019 and he will send them at once.\u201d<\/span><\/span> 4 <\/span><\/sup>This took place to fulfill what was spoken by the prophet, saying,<\/span><\/p>\n

5 <\/sup><\/span>\u201cSay to the daughter of Zion,<\/span>
\n\u2018Behold, your king is coming to you,<\/span>
\n    <\/span>humble, and mounted on a donkey,<\/span><\/span>
\n    <\/span>on a colt, the foal of a beast of burden.\u2019\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

6 <\/span><\/sup>The disciples went and did as Jesus had directed them.<\/span> 7 <\/span><\/sup>They brought the donkey and the colt and put on them their cloaks, and he sat on them.<\/span> 8 <\/span><\/sup>Most of the crowd spread their cloaks on the road, and others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road.<\/span> 9 <\/span><\/sup>And the crowds that went before him and that followed him were shouting, \u201cHosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!\u201d<\/span> 10 <\/span><\/sup>And when he entered Jerusalem, the whole city was stirred up, saying, \u201cWho is this?\u201d<\/span> 11 <\/span><\/sup>And the crowds said, \u201cThis is the prophet Jesus, from Nazareth of Galilee.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Noisy Offering:<\/strong><\/em><\/span>
\n<\/span> A collection of coins by the children for missions is part of the worship service the last Sunday of every month.<\/p>\n

Sunday School:<\/strong><\/em><\/span>
\n<\/span> 10:00 \u2013 11:00 AM \u2013 in the Parish Hall Lower Level.  A Children\u2019s Church program is available weekly on Sunday mornings.<\/p>\n
