Isaiah 55:1-5 (English Standard Version)<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

1<\/sup><\/span><\/span>\u201cCome, everyone who thirsts,
\ncome to the waters;<\/span><\/span>
\nand he who has no money,<\/span>
\ncome, buy and eat!<\/span><\/span>
\nCome, buy wine and milk<\/span>
\nwithout money and without price.<\/span><\/span>
\n2 <\/sup><\/span>Why do you spend your money for that which is not bread,<\/span>
\nand your labor for that which does not satisfy?<\/span><\/span>
\nListen diligently to me, and eat what is good,<\/span>
\nand delight yourselves in rich food.<\/span><\/span>
\n3 <\/span><\/sup>Incline your ear, and come to me;<\/span>
\nhear, that your soul may live;<\/span><\/span>
\nand I will make with you an everlasting covenant,<\/span>
\nmy steadfast, sure love for David.<\/span><\/span>
\n4 <\/sup><\/span>Behold, I made him a witness to the peoples,<\/span>
\na leader and commander for the peoples.<\/span><\/span>
\n5 <\/sup><\/span>Behold, you shall call a nation that you do not know,<\/span>
\nand a nation that did not know you shall run to you,<\/span><\/span>
\nbecause of the Lord<\/span> your God, and of the Holy One of Israel,<\/span>
\nfor he has glorified you.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Matthew 14:13-21  (English Standard Version)<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

13 <\/span><\/strong><\/sup>Now when Jesus heard this, he withdrew from there in a boat to a desolate place by himself. But when the crowds heard it, they followed him on foot from the towns.<\/span> 14 <\/span><\/strong><\/sup>When he went ashore he saw a great crowd, and he had compassion on them and healed their sick.<\/span> 15 <\/span><\/strong><\/sup>Now when it was evening, the disciples came to him and said, \u201cThis is a desolate place, and the day is now over; send the crowds away to go into the villages and buy food for themselves.\u201d<\/span> 16 <\/span><\/strong><\/sup>But Jesus said, \u201cThey need not go away; you give them something to eat.\u201d<\/span><\/span> 17 <\/span><\/strong><\/sup>They said to him, \u201cWe have only five loaves here and two fish.\u201d<\/span> 18 <\/span><\/strong><\/sup>And he said, \u201cBring them here to me.\u201d<\/span><\/span> 19 <\/span><\/strong><\/sup>Then he ordered the crowds to sit down on the grass, and taking the five loaves and the two fish, he looked up to heaven and said a blessing. Then he broke the loaves and gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the crowds.<\/span> 20 <\/span><\/strong><\/sup>And they all ate and were satisfied. And they took up twelve baskets full of the broken pieces left over.<\/span> 21 <\/span><\/strong><\/sup>And those who ate were about five thousand men, besides women and children.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
