Listen Here: “The Seed“
Colossians 1:11-20; Luke 23:33-43
Jesus Christ is the seed of a new humanity, a new human kind. Adam was homosapien; Jesus is homochristos, a new creation, a new way of being human. Does the seed die? Yes and no. The seed planted is no more. What happened to it? Over time that particular seed becomes a gazillion seeds. Some fall on the good soil and yield a crop, some a hundred fold, some sixty, some thirty. But the first Seed, the Christ Seed yields a gazillion fold. The Seed produces more of the same, biologically and spiritually, over time.
